Ashtanga Primary Series Workshop with Samantha Vetrano
Come learn the foundations of this traditional yoga practice in a modern way with Sam. Sam has been practicing and studying Ashtanga yoga since 2013. She has been lucky enough to study with amazing teachers where she lives in Boulder, Colorado as well as having traveled to Mysore, India to study with Saraswathi. In this workshop we will work through the primary series at a pace that beginners and experienced students will enjoy.
We will take time to go through preparations for jump throughs and jump backs, along with other foundational strength-based movements. We will also explore postures that will help deepen your ashtanga primary series practice. We will talk about the opening and closing chant and the history of Ashtanga Yoga briefly. This workshop is perfect for people who are curious about the Ashtanga practice and would like an introduction and some foundational building blocks to build strength and ease in your own yoga practice. Also a great workshop for those trying to develop a personal practice. Hope to see you there!
